Stagehand and Guitarbot

Stagehand is a small, BLE enabled smart button that fits into a guitar strap. When the guitar is picked up and being played, stagehand notices that and controls the room-- shutting off and controlling lighting, visuals, appliances, and reverb in the room. The overall effect when picking up the guitar is a feeling of the world stopping and a concert beginning; the room sounds lush and the reverb inspires an embodied experience of the music.

Guitarbot is a guitar stand that moves; trying different locations around the apartment to see how reachability and novelty affect how frequently the user plays their guitar.
